The overflow stainless steel pool is an architectural element of a modern villa

Collaborating with architects from the Filipenka Architects studio resulted in the creation of a pool that combines precise stainless steel technology with clean modern architecture. The end product is a custom-designed IMAGINOX stainless steel overflow pool for the specific space, which has become the dominant feature of the entire residence. Every detail was addressed individually to ensure that the pool functions perfectly and visually emphasises the character of the space.
Custom Technical Solution for the Interior
The stainless steel pool measures 14 × 3.92 × 1.38–1.78 m and is situated indoors. It is an overflow pool anchored to the ceiling structure, which is technically very demanding but architecturally exceptionally clean.
The overflow edge is designed as a channel aligned with the floor to create an absolutely calm water surface without any disruptive elements. This type of solution is typical of luxury projects, where the emphasis is on minimalism and perfect integration into the space.
The pool was welded directly on site to allow for maximum precision and adaptation to the building’s readiness. Great emphasis was placed on surface details. The bottom and stairs are equipped with circular anti-slip nubs that increase safety and create a unified aesthetic. The brushed surface of the pool walls emphasises the luxurious character of the stainless steel design.
This combination of surface finishes is ideal for private wellness spaces, combining functionality with visual cleanliness.
Comfortable access and thoughtful layout
The pool can be accessed via a recessed ladder or a curved staircase with six steps.
This flexible design allows for both quick entry and comfortable, gradual immersion. The curved steps also look elegant and fit naturally into the overall design.
The pool is equipped with four 210 mm diameter LED RGB lights by Wibre, complemented by additional lighting elements.
Colour lighting enables you to adjust the ambience of the space to suit your mood, ranging from relaxed dimmed lighting to more vibrant light scenes. In combination with the overflow surface, an exceptionally striking visual effect is created.
Water features and lamellar cover
The pool is not just an aesthetic feature, but a fully-fledged wellness tool. It includes: a UWE Triva countercurrent (225 m³/h) for fitness swimming, massage jets in the wall for muscle recovery and a Cobra 700 waterfall for design and relaxation.
This combination enables the pool to be used for sports activities and deep relaxation. The installation includes a lamellar cover at the bottom of the pool made of grey PVC louvres. This elegant solution completely hides the technology, leaving the space unobstructed and clean. At the same time, it helps to maintain the water temperature and increase safety.
The entire project demonstrates how a stainless steel pool can be fully integrated into an architectural concept without compromise. Collaborating with Filipenka Architects enabled us to create a solution that is technically precise and visually timeless.
The overflow surface at floor level, clean stainless steel lines and hidden technology create a calm, luxurious and highly functional space. Would you like to discuss a similar project?
