Stainless Steel Infinity Pool as an Architectural Centrepiece of a Modern Garden

Stainless Steel Infinity Pool as an Architectural Centrepiece of a Modern Garden

Some projects are not just pools; they become part of the architecture of the house and the entire property. This luxurious stainless steel infinity pool with a glass wall is exactly that, and we created it for a private client. The project combines clean, minimalist design with technological precision and effective interaction with the water surface, creating the visual effect of merging with the surrounding space. The project was implemented in collaboration with architects.

Infinity pools are among the most sought-after solutions in modern architecture today. Architects use them not only for aesthetic reasons, but also because they can connect the house, garden and landscape to create a harmonious whole. Here, the water surface does not act as a separate element, but as a natural continuation of the space.

Endless Water Surface and Glass Wall as the Main Design Element

The dominant feature of this project is the overflow around the entire perimeter of the pool and its short glass side. The 7 × 3 × 1.35 m stainless steel pool was designed as an overflow infinity pool, creating an endless water surface that elegantly disappears over the edge of the pool.

It is precisely this effect that creates a unique visual experience. The water appears absolutely calm and boundless. Combined with a precisely designed overflow channel hidden under stone, a clean, minimalist detail emerges that architects love for its subtlety and elegance.

Another striking feature is the 2.5 × 0.8 m glass wall, which allows a view through the water and gives the pool the luxurious appearance typically seen in high-end international projects.

Glass walls in pools are now often used by architects as a design element to make the entire pool structure appear lighter. At the same time, they enable fascinating interplay of light, reflections and views between the garden and the water surface.

Stainless steel as a material for modern architecture

Stainless steel is becoming an increasingly popular choice of material for luxury residences and modern architectural projects. The reason is simple: stainless steel offers a perfectly clean appearance, a long lifespan and exceptional structural strength.

For this project, the structure was designed as three sides embedded in a concrete basin and one self-supporting short side. Welding the pool directly on-site allowed for maximum precision and perfect alignment with the surrounding architecture.

The bottom surface and stairs are fitted with circular anti-slip nubs, and the walls feature an elegant brushed finish. This combination not only ensures high safety, but also gives the pool its characteristic luxurious appearance.

The minimalist aesthetic of stainless steel works perfectly in combination with concrete, stone, wood and modern façade materials. This is why infinity stainless steel pools are favoured by architects seeking to create timeless exteriors without distracting elements.

Comfortable bathing and technology at the highest level

A luxury pool is about more than just appearance today. Comfort and technology also play an important role. The dual-jet counter-current IMG Duo is part of this, enabling quality swimming and relaxation.

A cantilevered staircase with four steps elegantly complements the pool’s clean lines and leads into the water. In the evening, the atmosphere is enhanced by a trio of 210 mm diameter Wibre LED RGB lights. The coloured lighting gives the water’s surface a unique visual effect, transforming the pool into the dominant feature of the garden.

The client also opted for a T&A automatic lamella cover with solar-powered PVC lamellae hidden in the wall behind the pool. This preserves the purity of the design by eliminating any visible technical elements. The cover helps to maintain the water temperature and reduce operating costs.

The technology includes an ASEKO Aqua HOME automatic chemical treatment system, an Aqua Silence MS110 heat pump and the ability to control the pool via the Asin Pool mobile app.

Infinity pools as part of contemporary luxury architecture

An infinity pool is more than just a wellness feature. In contemporary architecture, it becomes an integral part of the overall house and garden design. The infinite water surface brings calm and optical enlargement to the space, creating a unique visual effect that cannot be replicated by a classic pool.

The combination of water, light and minimalist lines is what makes infinity pools one of the most prestigious forms of private wellness. When complemented by a glass wall, the result is an architectural feature that looks luxurious from every angle.

This realisation exemplifies how a modern stainless steel pool can serve not only as a place for swimming and relaxation, but also as a striking design feature that enhances the value of the entire property.
