An exceptional commercial spa has been created in the Italian mountain town of Livigno. The hotel now offers guests a IMAGINOX stainless steel overflow pool that combines premium design, cutting-edge technology and breathtaking views of the surrounding Alps.

The L-shaped swimming pool IMAGINOX is designed to optimise space for swimming and relaxation. One interesting feature is the direct access from the indoor spa through large glass doors, connecting the interior to the exterior and providing unobstructed views of the mountain landscape.
This glass passageway ensures a comfortable transition from the indoor area of the hotel without having to step outside, while also visually unifying the entire wellness area.
Measuring 8.6 metres by 2.65 metres in the outdoor section and 1.7 metres by 2.7 metres in the indoor section, with a depth of 1.3 metres, the pool is suitable for swimming. It is equipped with overflow technology to ensure even water drainage around the entire perimeter of the pool. This system ensures the prescribed hygiene standard for commercial use.
The pool technology is housed in a separate technical shaft and includes everything required for reliable operation, including filtration, circulation pumps and automated water quality control.
The project also includes underwater LED lighting to ensure safe operation after dark and create a unique atmosphere. Taking an evening dip in the warm water while overlooking the illuminated mountain peaks is an unforgettable experience.
Sliding glazing at the pool threshold isn’t just a visual upgrade—it’s a performance detail. We see two common setups: two panels closing to the centre or one large panel sliding to one side. With insulated glazing and lift-and-slide systems, the goal is simple: a tighter close for a more stable pool-hall climate and less strain on heating + dehumidification. Plastic screens can separate space; glazing preserves architecture.
