Family stainless steel pool with sliding terrace. Functional elegance in a compact format
For clients from Prague, we built an elegant stainless steel pool that, thanks to its compact dimensions and precise workmanship, fits perfectly into the exterior of a modern family home. This project demonstrates that even a smaller pool can be synonymous with comfort, quality and modern technology.
An interesting feature is the sliding terrace, which can be extended over the pool, the sunken seating area or over both areas at the same time.
Stainless steel pool 5 x 3 m with gradual bottom slope
The pool is designed as a skimmer pool with internal dimensions of 5 × 3 m and a depth that slopes smoothly from 1.1 m to 1.4 m. The pool body was installed in a concrete shell and welded directly on site, ensuring a precise fit to the space.
The bottom is fitted with round anti-slip studs for safe movement, as well as three steps of a staircase that extends along one entire side of the pool. The walls of the pool have an elegant brushed finish, which gives the whole a luxurious look.
The pool includes a powerful filtration system with a sand filter and a manual six-way valve. The Speck Comfort 12 circulation pump ensures efficient water circulation, while the automatic dispenser takes care of its continuous treatment.
The technology also includes an Elecro Quantum low-pressure UV lamp with a service life indicator and a 9 kW NEO heat pump, which helps to extend the swimming season. White LED lighting from Astral creates a pleasant atmosphere in the evening.
The sliding terrace covers not only the swimming pool, but also the seating area
To increase comfort and safety, we also supplied the pool with an AquaFloors sliding terrace. The sliding terrace practically covers the entire pool and, at the same time, the seating area next to the pool, which the client had recessed into the ground. The sliding terrace with an aluminium structure measures approximately 6.5 x 3.4 m, and its rails run parallel to the longer side of the pool. As a result, handling the terrace is smooth and hassle-free.
The electric drive with a concealed motor and switch ensures simple and safe operation of the sliding terrace, even for ordinary users. We also prepared the area around the terrace for the client for subsequent tiling or stone cladding.
