Stainless steel pool IMAGINOX as part of the family villa Block House
We present a stainless steel swimming pool as part of the Block House project, which we implemented in collaboration with the MA s.r.o. studio. The aim of the project was to design contemporary and distinctive architecture that sensitively emphasises the unique atmosphere of the Šárecké Valley.
The view of the landscape and the closest possible connection between the house and the surrounding nature played a key role. One façade opens up to wide panoramas of the surrounding area, while the opposite side offers an intimate garden retreat with a stainless steel pool, where peace and privacy prevail. The photographs are by Václav Novák.
“The positioning of the pool was part of the design of the entire garden composition. We positioned it so that it was naturally integrated into the slope and the retaining walls, complementing both the natural composition and the Zen part of the garden,” says Dan Merta, describing the pool’s location.
Stainless Steel Pool IMAGINOX
The stainless steel pool from Imaginox was chosen for its timeless and clean look, high level of hygiene and the long-term durability of the material, which retains its properties without degradation.
The entire house is controlled by a modern Smart Home system, into which pool technologies can also be easily integrated. The pool in the relaxation zone thus operates fully automatically – its operation and maintenance take place without user intervention and do not in any way interfere with living comfort.
Stainless steel pools represent the essence of minimalist elegance, combining a contemporary industrial look with maximum practicality. Stainless steel stands out with its subtly reflective surface, which creates the impression of a perfectly clear body of water blending seamlessly with the surrounding landscape or interior architecture.
In addition, the smooth and compact surface minimises the build-up of dirt and the growth of bacteria, which contributes to the hygiene and easy maintenance of the pool.
“Block House is a project where architecture meets topography and where every element grows out of the logic of the site. The slope, the views and the structure of the garden were not an obstacle, but the main impetus behind the entire design. The result is a house that does not impose itself on the landscape, but blends into it; that offers spacious living without being dominant; and that, through its composition, creates a peaceful, cohesive and cleverly zoned home in one of Prague’s most prestigious locations.“ (Studio MA s.r.o.)
