Turnkey Hotel Wellness for Al Nin Hotel & Spa in Livigno

Turnkey Hotel Wellness for Al Nin Hotel & Spa in Livigno

Located in the picturesque mountain town of Livigno, one of Italy’s most popular destinations, the Al Nin Hotel’s contemporary wellness area has been designed to provide guests with an unparalleled relaxation experience. The two-storey spa provides hotel guests with superior facilities, including a sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi on the upper floor and a stainless steel swimming pool on the ground floor that can be swum out of through glass doors.

Spacious relaxation areas on both floors, located in an architectural alcove with panoramic mountain and slope views, complete the experience. The warmth and tranquillity of the spa provide an impressive contrast to the winter scenery outside, evoking a feeling of complete comfort and cosiness.

Tailor-made wellness in perfect harmony with the architecture and landscape

The wellness area at Al Nin has been completely custom-designed, including the interior, which follows the hotel’s style seamlessly and places particular emphasis on the connection with the surrounding nature. Every element was manufactured to a bespoke design in the IMAGINOX Group’s production facilities. The glazed sauna offers a view of the exterior, and the swimming pool is seamlessly connected to the outdoor terrace. The architectural and layout design also incorporates a technological element, which is always individually designed according to the complexity of the project.

High-quality, well-designed wellness facilities are now a given for hotels. According to statistics, 80% of hotel guests choose a hotel based on whether it offers wellness facilities. In mountainous areas, especially during the summer tourist season or the winter ski season, wellness facilities are a requirement.

Therefore, hotels’ competitive advantage lies not in having a spa, but in the appearance and quality of their spa facilities. This trend is evidenced by the Michelin Keys, an award for the quality of services, including the wellness offering, which will be given from 2024 or 2025 in the Czech Republic,” says IMAGINOX CEO Jiří Kachlík, discussing the current development of orders for luxury hotels.

IMAGINOX overflow stainless steel swimming pool: the centre of relaxation

Installed on the ground floor of the hotel, the stainless steel swimming pool is divided into two parts: an indoor section measuring 7.2 x 3.35 x 1.35 metres and an outdoor section measuring 3.35 x 2.2 x 1.35 metres. Its elegant overflow edge ensures continuous water circulation, a clear surface and high hygiene standards. The pool features a straight staircase with four steps and a handrail, an integrated lighting system comprising four white Teclumen LED lights, hydromassage elements, and two stainless steel tubular benches with bubble massage.

The relaxation area also features a powerful massage bench, tubular loungers and three back massage seats. Other features include a stainless steel cobra-type water spout, air jets that are controlled via piezo buttons, and a built-in, automatic roll-up cover for both sections of the pool. Professional water treatment technology is provided by an OSPA Compact Control Profi measuring station, Behncke Berlin filtration and powerful massage and air pumps.

Design stainless steel whirlpool by IMAGINOX

On the first floor, there is an IMAGINOX stainless steel whirlpool located in the outdoor area of the wellness complex. Measuring 1.95 x 2.23 x 1.0 metres, it is designed for maximum guest comfort and features several types of hydro-massage element to provide a comprehensive relaxation experience.

Access to the whirlpool is via individual corner steps with three steps and a handrail. Inside, there is an L-shaped tubular bench with bubble massage, three integrated back massage seats and a separate massage lounger, as well as spot jets in the base. The entire system is electronically controlled via push buttons.

The TAO Trust Finnish sauna combines tradition and modern design

The spacious TAO Trust Finnish sauna, located on the first floor of the wellness area, measures 273 × 262 × 226 cm. This model has a sandwich construction with natural thermal insulation and a brushed thermo-pine inner lining, as well as a two-tier, L-shaped bench arrangement. The benches are made of abachi softwood and are equipped with backrests, two headrests and an entrance bench.

The design is complemented by a full-glazed safety glass front wall, a freestanding EOS Mythos sauna stove with 15 kW of power, and an EOS EmoTouch remote control. White LED backlighting on the backrests and a clean, minimalist interior create an atmosphere of calm and luxury.

Cooling and refreshing: the ZIEGRA ice machine and the Aquaform experience showers

The wellness area features a ZIEGRA ZBE 250 ice machine with a daily production capacity of up to 250 kg of flake ice. This ice is ideal for intensive cooling after sauna sessions and helps the body to regenerate. It is then refilled into the stainless steel design trough. For refreshment, the Aquaform experience showers combine different water temperatures and stream types within predefined programmes according to mood.

Taking full responsibility for the entire process — from design and project documentation to installation and commissioning — was key to the complete turnkey wellness delivery. This ensured maximum design quality, the seamless integration of all equipment, and the smooth implementation of the project without the need for the coordination of multiple contractors. This project proves that turnkey wellness is not just about convenience for the investor, but above all about achieving a harmonious and perfectly functional whole.
